The breakfast was a typical Continental Breakfast with lots of food. There was a lot of wheat based food . . croissants and bread, which I have a particular problem with, however there were plenty of yoghurts and Compotes at the self service area. The hotel is ideally placed for a five minute walk to the surprisingly small old part of the town. The road immediately outside the hotel door is one way only, with the return direction across the other side of the river. The Hotel has an arrangement with La Taverne du Sommelier (100m away), where they reduce the bill by 10% on production of the Hotel check in document.

Very new and clean rooms. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The rooms are small, but enough for 1 night. Very quiet, despite being close to a big street. We were facing towards the valley and it was nice to wake up to birdsong in the morning.

Lovely little town , friendly staff, good restaurant on site.

If you love quiet place in nature, but few km from highway, this is accommodation for you! Hosts were super nice, communicative and served really great breakfast for us. At first, I was worried about having breakfast with hosts, but it was super pleasant, they share some great experiences with us. Room has every equipment which we needed, and also wi-fi was super fast. If you expect TV in the room, you will be dissapointed, but it's nothing to care about at this beautiful place! :)

This was by far the most charming and memorable place I've ever stayed. Look at the photos as they fully represent the accommodation as this is a traditional French chambre d'hôtes, in a spectacular house. The entire place was well cared for, well kept, clean and the furniture and fittings were all in working order. I've got a significant back problem and while the mattress wasn't a brand new expensive memory foam and the bed was a little creaky (it's an antique frame after all), I slept well so we turned our initial one night stay into 3 as we didn't want to leave! The hosts provided ample and varied breakfasts of fresh produce and home made goods and made every effort to make us feel welcome and engage in conversation with us. We overlooked a rather important issue on one day of our stay and we were looked after by our hosts in a way that no other guest accommodation I've stayed at has gone to such lengths to do. We'll never forget such kindness. The bathroom was utterly charming and very cosy for a hot bubble bath of an evening. The shower was an old fashioned hand held one connected to the taps in the room we had but it didn't bother us. We had wi-fi, free parking, access to fridge and microwave in addition to no light and noise pollution at night! Bliss. If you want modern, faceless, characterless accommodation in the thick of it that looks like a million other places and you'll not be on first name terms with the hosts, then don't visit this characterful, historic property, that's full of charm, warmth and welcome and is homely and a place of peace, where you're welcomed into the world where the hosts live. There will be no hesitation for us to return and would highly recommend to friends and family.
