We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau de Riverie. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and the husband is a professional and excellent cook. We highly recommend this place for a stay of a couple of days. You need to make sure to follow the road instructions from the hosts. Google map will send you down narrow streets along a crazy route.

We booked because we were going to the Rugby World Cup in St Etienne and wanted a quiet place away from there and near to Lyons airport, for just 1 night. Anne-marie and Guy were extremely friendly and helpful and very disappointed that we didn't even have time for a coffee in the morning before we went to the airport. Bedroom and bathroom were comforatable and very clean and homely/well equipped.

This is one of the most wonderful places I have stayed, and I have stayed in a lot! If you want peace, tranquility, nature and to be looked after by wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! Great walks into the town which has a fantastic variety of places to eat and enjoy. It is filled with history and charm and the accommodation offers even more.

The placement is really idyllic, the room extremely comfortable and cosy, including all details: fan, dimming lights, kitchen with fridge, microwave and all possible tools. Marie-Dominique is very kind and friendly and the breakfast in the garden was just fantastic! I can fully recommend Le Clos Du Pedret for an excellent experience close to Lyon!!

The coziest place in the Massif Central region, I believe. The garden is truly unique, the layout of the property, the magical finish inside of this old building is just wonderful. The owners and their legendarily nice dog are the kindest and most interesting people you can wish for at a place like this. The breakfast they serve with the views of the garden you get is romantic comedy worthy dream material. This is overall a wonderful spot to cut yourself of the outside worries!

Just the way everything was set up, relaxing quiky and lovely owners, and a sweet dog! And always wanted to live in a tree house so even one night was fabulous!
