Very spacious room with comfortable bed, bright modern bathroom; nicely heated. Very comfortable indeed. Would happily have stayed longer.
We had dinner in the restaurant and opted for a la carte (to have a smaller meal) rather than have a 3 dish menu. This was very flexible and easy. The food was exceptional. Beef cheeks main course delightful; warm chocolate cake exquisite. Very reasonable.

The apartment was a good size and the heating was on when we arrived after dark on a cold, grey November evening - much appreciated! The kitchen area had everything we needed. Parking was convenient, right outside. Despite the flat being on the quite busy main road, we did not hear traffic noise inside. There is a little general store about 100 metres away on the same road and next to the hotel, which has a bar (but it was unfortunately not open the day we arrived). If you want bread, you need to order it from the store the day before. It is worth taking a little stroll around the village, which is on the edge of a small river.

Absolutely beautiful stay. It’s a superbly renovated 500 year old building offering perfectly presented modern comforts with heritage and character. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Large area of easy parking and very easy to find on Google Maps. Mad comfortable bed with easy radiators to find your comfortable temperature. The breakfast was incredible!!! Wonderful spread. I'd definitely stay again

We just used it as a stopover on way to Calais and perfect for that had all you needed. Owner very helpful and in a lovely town.
Coquelicot is situated in Massiac. Guests staying at this apartment have access to a fully equipped kitchenette. The property is non-smoking and is located 41 km from Col d'Entremont.
Away from it all, ideal for walks. If you do not have table d'hotes, the nearest restaurants are 8-10kM away. Auberge de Chalet is worth the 10kM or so for a meal, if you can get in! Pre-booking is essential. Every time we have been there it has been 'Restaurant Complet'.
