Casa Mila is Cindy and Jeremy’s labour of love. Such a lovely property and amazing hosts. Nestled in the heart of the Loire valley, this is an old house which they have painstakingly restored beautifully to highest standard. The property is well suited for couples and families (we are a family of 3 with a 5 year old). We stayed for 9 nights. Breakfast is absolutely stunning (don’t miss the Casa Mila bowls and the pancakes are to die for). The location is spectacular, right on the Loire river, with a 10 minute walk to the village & local shop, pharmacy & boulangerie. The hosts are very warm, attentive and proud of what they have achieved. The heated pool is a gem, and the newly opened spa facilities look amazing. Cindy & Jeremy gave us plenty of recommendations on places to eat (we tried all their recommendations and each & every one was exceptional) and shop, both locally as well as in the nearby cities of Angers & Saumur. There is also no shortage of Chateaus and vineyards just a short drive away. All in all, we had an amazing stay at Casa Mila, and we will return.

Dany is an excellent cook who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners (dinners aren't available every night) taking account of an allergy that one of us has. She and her husband were also very friendly and helpful, including making restaurant bookings for us. The rooms all have a view over the river Loire (sadly very dry this summer). The area has a variety of historic chateaux and other places of interest which we enjoyed visiting.
