Excellent place to explore the area from.
Excellent place to explore the area from. Tourist office was so very helpful. The little road train to the Gorges of Galmus and the red train to Axat were a high point. Near to the Chateau of Puillarens. Mountain roads were exciting with hardly any traffic. A little further drive were examples of Vauban’s forts, Mont Louis and Villefranche de Conflet.

The hosts were extremely friendly and we enjoyed a couple of evening meals with the hosts - the food and local wines we sampled were excellent. we also enjoyed lovely breakfasts everyday which were homemade by Veronique including fruits, yogurts and breads.

Large room with a good shower. Restaurant was very good, local cuisine and very tasty. Good choice for breakfast. Staff so friendly.
