The rural location with horses, cows, chickens, cats and a dog to look at. The owner was very helpful and friendly and we would like recommend the place to others wanting a quiet retreat close to the Vendee coast. There was a good, reasonably priced Italian restaurant in the local village.

A comfortable hotel with secure bicycle storage for long-distance cyclists riding the Velodyssee Euro Velo cycle route. The buffet breakfast is excellent and of good quality. Close to restaurants and all amenities the hotel is an ideal stop-over and highly recommended. We have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and would certainly stay again.

We absolutely loved our time at 'Le Temps d'une Pause'. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble. We booked the two rooms together and it worked perfectly for our family of four. The homemade breakfasts were a real treat too and we felt like we could completely relax.
