Beautiful place to stay. Couldnt fault the host. Lovely little village. Only gripe would be the distance from the motorway but dont let that put you off. Our room was a great size with 2 large dogs.

We stayed for a week at 3 Gîtes in Camaret sur Aigues, a quiet village about 10 minutes' drive from Orange.
Host Axel, his son Sacha and their dog Alaska gave us a warm welcome and were happy to show us all the facilities (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, gîte Mont Ventoux (max 4 people) etc). On arrival, we opted for optional breakfast and dinner, which was neat and tasty. Furthermore, the gîte was equipped with a kitchenette and gas barbecue, which we also used for several days.
There was no shortage of technical gadgets: everything is equipped with Amazon Alexa, wifi is provided, a handy tablet to control everything, a charging station for plug-in hybrids and electric cars was installed during our stay and we were the first ones to test it out. There were also workmen installing solar panels, which is understandable during low season and frankly didn't bother that much.
Furthermore, Axel was always prepared to share sightseeing tips of the region (Orange, Séguret, Vaison la Romaine, Avignon, the wine estates, etc.). One remark: you'll definitely need a car to visit these places.
We would like to thank Axel and his family once again for the warm welcome, we will definitely return :) !
overall the town is really nice to see- local with great food ( not touristy). we did not manage to reach at dinner in the restaurant but i hear it is amazing. nice small hotel
The breakfast was lovely, fresh and good variety of products. The owner of the hotel is lovely as well and wants to make sure everybody is happy and have what they need.
