After being let down by my original hotel, with no notice & paid for 4 weeks earlier, this was booked at very short notice. Friendly staff member who helped carry my things to the room. Room very comfortable & good choices for breakfast. Dog friendly!

The owner gave us a very warm welcome and provided a lot of information and made sure to answer all our stupid questions. She also asked us in great detail what we wanted for breakfast, which was great and definitely worth the additional cost.
Sometimes when properties say there's a possibility for charging an EV, they mean that there is a public charger somewhere in the town. In this case the charger is actually on the hotel property, right in their own parking lot (of which the gate is locked at night by the way, for security).
Filtered water is provided free of charge in the lobby, which is great because the tap water is a bit smelly.
The location is good, it's in a pretty quiet place outside the city center but it's very easy and cheap to get to downtown Lille by tram (again, with great instructions from the host).
The rooms are good. The bed is maybe a bit firm for some people's taste but we liked it. There is a little table right outside each room. Unfortunately it was cold and a bit rainy but with good weather it's probably great to have the breakfast, which is served to the room at the desired time, there.
