Our breakfast was great! All laid out on a hand built log table, very nice.
The hosts were absolutely fantastic and accommodated us even after our very late arrival with a lovely meal and drinks.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English! We had a comfortable room and there was a variety of options for breakfast. We made a very quick stop here on our way back to England and we went into Vitry le Francois for our evening meal. The location is also good if you are wishing to visit the nearby lakes and would like a longer stay.

Great location in the woods about 2km from the office at Lac du Der, where we were met Hythe hosts who were friendly and super helpful and brought a lovely breakfast in a basket the following morning. A unique stay in a tree house and great fun!

This is possibly the very best place to observe the migration of cranes from Scandinavia to North Africa. Lac du Der is one of the major stopping points for these birds. Spending an evening watching them arrive and then early morning as they depart is something everyone who loves wildlife should experience - fabulous !
