The welcome and hospitality throughout our 8 night stay in late August were exceptional. Sylvie and Thierry were perfect hosts, very helpful with local information, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were varied, allowing us to sample local produce. Accommodation, grounds and pool were in immaculate condition, perfect base for exploring the Dordogne.

The accommodation was very clean, the showers serviced a lot of people and could have been cleaned more often but they were still in good order at 99% of the time. I liked that the campsite was in the woods so the cabins were not too hot or too close to each other. Great for kids because it is not too close to the river or lake there were hardly any mosquitoes.

It was ideally placed by the river Dordogne, with parking at the rear of the hotel. The rooms were large and spacious, and we had a a separate sitting room with chairs and a table. The bed was very comfortable and large. We had a good shower in the bathroom. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Although we did not use the restaurant, it was overlooking the river and spacious.
