We have stayed in many places on our way to Alpine breaks, this is definitely one of the best. Very close to the motorway in a small quiet village. Parking is right outside the front door. The owner– Muriel is very particular, but in a very good way. We stayed in the top floor apartment which is beautifully decorated to a high standard. Each piece of furniture has been carefully chosen and every need is catered for. Breakfast which included freshly squeezed orange juice is to a very high standard would recommend and would definitely revisit in the future.
The Ibis Styles Metz Centre Gare hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the city centre and 200 metres from Metz Train Station.

We booked a double room and got exactly as booked. It faced the city, had lovely large windows which let in loads of light but also great curtains that blocked the light so you could sleep. It was lovely to have a kettle and a fridge and the bathroom was clean and a nice size. The hotel was well placed in the city and easy to access everything. The parking although separate was an easy walk and secure. Metz was a joy to visit and the hotel felt safe and welcoming.

Staff were extremely nice from memory. They dealt quickly with a power outage which hsppened as I was getting my stuff from the car. I didn't have breakfast.

The hotel provided a Splendid breakfast and evening dining restaurant where the service was exemplary. It is set in a quiet rural area whilst providing easy access to major road networks and the cultural heart of Metz . The staff were courteous, helpful and welcoming particularly Emilie and Chloe on reception. As first point of contact to visitors they were exceptional .
