Best of both worlds. Basic room with usual amenities but no aircon although fan or heater depending on season. In October we were there on changeover day. Very good wifi. Nice shower in our room but broken fitting needed some lateral thinking ( see photo ). The bar restaurant is traditional village France at its best. Probably hasn't changed since the fifties. Excellent food, good cheap beer and wines plus a great atmosphere with the locals although it helps if you speak some French. Very welcoming and you quickly feel like a local as you get to know all the regulars. PS. I have been travelling in France for over 50 years now so nostalgia was a big part of my enjoyment when staying here

A nice place to stay for a couple of days away from city noise. The charme of the property is that it is really in a very remote place and we could enjoyed the country life to its most.

Nathalie and Alfred met us on our arrival- such a lovely welcoming couple! Their accommodation is so pretty and beautifully decorated with everything we needed for a short stay. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yogurt and jams and fresh croissants. We’re hoping to hear Nathalie sing when she comes to Australia in 2024 in the Edith Piaf musical. Their place is a hidden gem!
