It was like finding a pleasant island oasis. Alison and family were very hospitable and the food was pretty good too...........we really enjoyed our one night stay en route to a canal barging trip. A definite place to stay over if you need accommodation in the area.

The location is rural with a very nice restaurant within walking distance. With a little bit of research you can enjoy som pleasant walking in the countryside. We refused to accept the accommodation and bargained to receive 2/3 of the paid amount back. This hotel should be put out of operation for the renovation period.
