Exceptional Hotel , Perfect location for visiting a multitude of exceedingly interesting and beautiful locations eg Sarlat de Candida, the Dordogne valley , river with its numerous chateaux and sporting activities. The welcome was very warm . The facilities are set in beautiful grounds and the food ! What can I say absolute " Heaven" if you like FIVE STAR local french cuisine. Having stayed at hotels that were rated much higher this hotel can hold its own with the very best . Our room was spotless and the linen / towels were of the best quality and the decor of the room charming. Should be Four Star minimum.

Claude and Mario were so kind and helpful. Claude prepared a menu for us each night by agreement and it was superb! Breakfasts were amazing (especially the cheese, thank you Claude). It was a perfect sejour in a beautiful tranquil place with wonderful hosts. Thank you both so much

Location good, Towels and toiletries good.Big bathroom. Genial hosts, interesting building with some history behind it. Bar and restaurant areas nice decor, Swimming pool and area for warmer months. Good evening menu , nice seating at front on a sunny evening too.
