The host were incredible, gave us a full tour of the property and vineyard followed by a visit of the cave and wine testing. Took a lot of time to make us feel at home and answered all our questions. The bed was super comfy, new bathroom and aircon. We loved the expresso machine in our room and all others attentions. We decided to get breakfast too and did not regret our decision. Food was plentiful and very tasty. Hosts made sure everything was fine and made us coffees. Chateau monichot is a work in progress and not everything is perfect yet. The host are however putting a tremendous amount of work and care towards the place and looking after guests while having to manage the vineyard and vine making.

The location is not too far from the motorway which was ideal for our requirements. We received a friendly welcome from Carole which after a very long drive was much needed, she explained everything very clearly to us and offered to help in many different ways. I will gladly stay here again when we are on our travels.
