We stayed with a family of 5 and it was a great set up. Up stairs accommodated 3 children comfortably, with a double bed down stairs and bathroom. The garden had table tennis and space for our youngest to run around. Well located to the tole roads and easy to get to.

The Gite was spacious and in a quiet location with large grounds (shared). Geographically it was in a good position for an overnight stay on our trip to the Dordogne, from the UK. It was fine for an overnight stay but would not wish to stay longer.
The agent was very pleasant.

Every apartment was a good size, simply decorated, nice and clean.. and had its own lovely shower room. The showers were amazing! Towels, toilet paper and hand soap were provided.
The beds were comfortable.
The kitchen area had a kettle (a "must" for British guests!), a microwave, toaster, coffeemaker and a hob. Washing-up liquid and teacloths were provided. There was salt and pepper in the cupboard.
It was good to have a table and chairs in each apartment.
Being so close to Vierzon station.. and the Town Hall, meant we could walk to those places...which was important for us as a larger than average sized family group, needing to go to those places.
There is an Aldi you can walk to (though it is quite a long walk) and is open for a short time on Sundays.
Each room had an air-conditioning unit (though we didn't need to use those..but it was good they were there if we had needed them).
Free WiFi was very useful.
The owners/managers were very helpful, kind and welcoming. They made sure an iron and ironing board were there for us to use, as requested.
Obtaining the keys for each apartment was simple (...much appreciated after quite a long journey).
La Grange De Léonie, Chambres d'hôtes avec Piscine et Spa is situated in Méry-sur-Cher in a wooded park. Among the various facilities are a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

The rooms were clean, well designed and the decoration was most tasteful.
The kitchen dining area, which also incorporated a TV viewing area, was large and airy with views out into the garden and spa area. Our hostess arrived at an agreed hour to serve us breakfast which was an added bonus.
The option to cook for ourselves in the evening from a range of pre-prepared meals was a novelty and well-received.
The wine selection, mainly local Loire wines, was also very pleasant.
Wines and food are paid for at the end of your stay using an honesty book.

Great place to stop overnight much better than a hotel-chain. I thoroughly recommend staying at Theillay. The room was excellent and the host was very welcoming and attentive. Great evening meal and breakfast.
