Rural location with good walking trails around the property and access to games room. Really good breakfast, fresh croissants and bread with cheese and yoghurt. We were only 2 people but there was enough for 4. Stevie even provided a bag for any leftovers for onward journey. Our room was well decorated plus a lot of attention to detail. Kitchenette provided everything required to prepare small meal. Shower/wet room spotlessly clean as was the whole property. Top marks to a wonderful host

Very easy to find. Had a great welcome from Dean and Jo on arrival and were shown to our fabulous room. We immediately felt at home with tea and coffee making facilities too. This was a welcome sight after a few hours in the car. We sat on the chairs provided at the front of our room listening to the birds and watching the red squirrels playing in the woods opposite by the river… sheer bliss! We both had a wonderful sleep, the bed, duvet and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom and shower are beautifully finished and were perfect for all our needs. We had a lovely continental breakfast that was delivered at the time we requested just outside the inner bedroom door. It set us up for the day nicely. On leaving Jo kindly showed us around the yoga studio and the back garden where further works are continuing to extend the chambre d’hôte business. A lovely stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay here for a lovely warm welcoming and comfortable stay.

Really well located apartment within a few minutes walk of the centre of La Dorat. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Fi and Mick are great hosts and full of useful information about the area, and the garden is gorgeous, perfect for unwinding over a couple of beers or a glass or two of wine.
