This is a haven to come back to after a long day, away from the hustle and bustle! Beautiful landscaping, very comfortable apartment/room. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedroom is very cosy and quiet, great bedding. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the pool and the terrasse! The hosts are exceptional, easy to communicate with, kind and available for any request. The breakfast is a delight to wake up to; home made jams and pasties. Highly recommend for a great short or long stay. Will return.

We had stayed at La Porte des Cevennes before and it was even better than we remembered. The location is great, with amazing views from our room and the panoramic lounge. The indoor pool was superb. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Loved 'Croquette' the cat! The food at dinner was exceptional! Every mouthful was delicious. We definitely aim to return one day.

Very spacious apartment, clean. Each room had its own bathroom and TV (kids loved it!). We could use the kitchen which was properly equipped for a short stay. We used the swimming pool - which is very nice, and well maintained (very clean water). We also went to the river down the hotel. It is quite steep to get there (maybe not for older people or very young children), but once there the kids had a lot of fun. The staff is extremely nice & helpful, they allowed us to stay a bit longer the next day in the common premises (breakfast room) and to use the swimming pool.
