Angeliques was an exceptional host despite having 3 children to manage. She opened the place on our arrival as there were no other guests due to arrive before us. She served in the bar, in the restaurant and took our breakfast orders. Dinner was superb and a very good breakfast.

Very nice hotel and super friendly staff (I think we were welcomed by the owner, she was incredibly friendly). The room was nice - not too small, with a nice comfy bed. Both room and bathroom were clean (the bathroom was spotless).
Finding a parking space is very easy, there are plenty in the area.
This is not a negative point per se but guests have to take into account, when booking, that the hotel doesn't have a lift (it is clearly stated in the description, so it wasn't a surprise). Guests who have problems lifting their suitcase might ask for help (as I said the staff is super friendly) but if you require a lift for other reasons you have to consider this factor.

We stopped at Auberge du Botaniste for 2 nights on our way South and enjoyed a nice stay visiting Quercy.
We were made very welcome by the owners and staff. The rooms and facilities were as expected: clean, comfy.
The children very much enjoyed the pool.
The bar and restaurant were nicely set, the service was good and friendly. The dishes, largely cooked with fresh local produce, were tasty and plentiful.

Upon arrival I was greeted by the lovely hosts and even though my reservation was made only some 3 hours before my arrival, the room was nicely clean. Even though my French is practically non existent we managed to have lovely interactions and they made sure I understood their explanations of the place and surrounding, which was very kind.
As I travel solo per motorbike, I selected this place it’s gate; it’s a safe place to park a bike.
