The property is remotely located at approx 4000 ft above sea level which is part of it’s appeal. The rooms are basic as described but very clean and spacious. We had a family room featuring a mezzanine floor with two single beds for the kids upstairs and a double downstairs. There is no aircon but the design of the building and the elevation means that you don’t need it. Night temperatures are cool to make for a comfortable nights sleep.
We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast and the food was excellent for both. As other have noted local produce is offered and was enjoyed by all of us.
The views are excellent.

A unique stay in lovely old chateau. Our room was huge with four-poster bed and lovely antique furnishings. The quality of bed linen, towels and accessories was exceptional. Set in relaxing countryside, the only noise coming from cowbells. Perfect relaxation.

Very nice and complete room. We didn't have a hair drier, but after we asked the owner, she let us find one on our door the morning after, really kind. The communication was good, they waited for us to give us the keys. They also had some good advice on where to eat late in the evening.
