Excellent dinner and very good continental breakfast. Lovely independent hotel, really good if you don’t like the chains (ibis up the road). Plenty of character, nice and clean, typically french…small desk in the room so I could still do some work but was difficult once I got all 4 very tasty courses down. Own car park 20m across the road. Definitely will come back.

Friendly staff, really good location being just a short walk from the train station. Easy to find. Sens is beautiful. Shops and restaurant options locally. Lovely flower beds with three different colours of forget-me-nots. It just had a nice "feel" to it.
I came back to the UK and said that if I ever decided to move to France it would probably be to Sens. However, with a cat, two dogs, three Cayuga ducks, 16 chickens and 18 alpacas plus a number of greenhouses, a move abroad would be just too challenging. I have some lovely river photos to remember Sens though.

After my lock to the originally assigned room didn't work, and the second room hadn't been properly cleaned, I got a bigger room. It had a twin bed and sink.
