We had a room overlooking the mountains and it was very tranquile and the host was terrific as to his kind attention for our short visit. Great breakfast including omelettes by the host served on the spectacular terrace.
We walked the Circe de Moureze the next morning and it is quite an experience, best for able walkers as quite tricky in places. Hotel has a lovely pool and it was great to chill in after a rather hot journey on our arrival.

We stayed only one night on our way to Dordogne. The area is beautiful and the hotel looks like a little village. Very warm welcome by the owner. As it was the last week before the hotel closed for the winter we were upgraded to a second floor with a small terrace. The rooms are large and comfortable. We ate diner at the hotel restaurant which was excellent. All in all a very good experience

Easy to find in the centre of the village. Parking is normally not a problem in from the of the hotel but we arrived during a children’s Xmas event so we had to temporarily leave our car in a nearby free car park. The rooms are large, clean, very quiet and comfortable. We had a problem with no power to the electric sockets but the staff quickly fixed the problem. The staff are lovely and very keen to please. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and the food is excellent.

Margareta is lovely and very helpful. We had the place for us only as there were no other travellers. We had a big en-suite room, comfy beds, hot water…a kitchen nearby and free-flowing rose in the fridge!

Small but lovely to stay in. Chateaus and a small town. Not exactly the place you want to walk around and shop but there is a lot of olive oil commerce there which is cool. The boulangerie in Clermont-l'Herault had one of the best baguettes we had in all of France. It was bustling and pushing through pastries and breads for good reason. A local farmer was out front selling his tomatoes and mushrooms. So amazing. There is a huge Hyper U at the start of Clermont-l'Herault which made it easy to buy things to prepare at the villa we rented and had a lot of amenities. It was like a Whole Foods on steroids. About 45 minutes from Marseillan and 35min from Beziers. This is definitely a place where you have to have a car. This area in the South is very hard to get a car on Sunday so beware of places not open. Avoid having to coordinate travel (car pick up, drop off, buses, trains) on Sundays here if possible. Instead just enjoy the area by making sure you are coming or going on the days before or after.
