The location was great, walking distance to the train station, supermarkets and restaurants. It was great to have an appartment to myself (it was cheaper than a hotel). I was visiting friends in a nearby village, so I didn't use the kitchen or the enormous TV, but having both is excellent and allows you to cook instead of going out to restaurants all the time, which can get expensive.
Great bathroom including bathtub and shower. Comfy double bed (not twin beds put together).
I spoke to the host by Whatsapp beforehand to get clarification on how to get into the flat (he gets a notification on his phone when you press the buzzer and he lets you in remotely). He was very helpful and available.

It is a high rise, high density inner city accommodation area with all the problems you would expect. The people we met however were lovely and friendly and the market held every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday had some great produce.

I highly recommend the hotel.
I highly recommend the hotel. The hotel indicates there is an air conditioner but it does not work. The receptionist is told that the guy who operates air conditioners is not there and the air conditioner can not be turned on, but in the lobby and in the dining room the air conditioner works. You may not be paying for a room with an air conditioner and you get a room with no air conditioner. Unable to sleep hot and sweating, in short horror.

There is a lot of space in the parlour, accompanied by a nice and large balcony, where there is enough space even to have an outdoor breakfast. The location is very close as to the center, so to a wonderful park la Tête d'Or. I definitely recommend and would stay here again, should I return to Lyon.
