Villa Maria is a fabulous place to stay. The room was comfortable and the decor beautiful and homely. The host gave us a warm welcome and made sure we understood how everything works. She also sells her own honey and.makes beautiful soaps and gifts. The Restaurant de la Gare at the junction of the same road is a great place to have dinner. The Plat du Jour was delicious and the service was friendly. It is a good location to explore the area. The citadel in Bitche is definitely worth a visit. It has a good underground audio visual tour in several languages. It's a truly astonishing place looming high above the town.

The accommodation is well equipped with complete set of kitchen appliances and facilities, washing machine and all the essential amenities besides fresh linen for a comfortable stay. We will always recommend this place and stay again when in this area.
