We stayed two nights at Maison du Moulin during our trip to watch a motorcycle race at St Leger de Balson. Everything we needed was at the apartment, I can highly recommend it. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and let us put our motorcycles under cover during the night, I look forward to staying at Maison du Moulin again in the future. A nice touch was that tea, coffee and toiletries were left for us!

The host was very nice. I liked the way the studio was styled and how clean was the place. In addition, a bottle of water left for us by the host was a very nice gesture.

We were here a year ago and they were modernizing. They have done so sympathetically, great elevator and rooms are excellent. They are old fashioned yes super clean and accessible I do not need modern decor. The staff is efficient and 24/8. The location is superb for tram from airport and to the train station. Easy access to center of the city. Great restaurants nearby and theater and wine center. I would rather be here than fancy new hotel it is why we are in France!!

An ideal location just a few blocks from the train station. We don't really need (or enjoy paying for) super upscale, and this Novotel is the perfect balance of down to earth and comfortable (we've stayed at two other hotels near the station and both were a little downscale for our taste and comfort). The staff was great - friendly and helpful. My bag didn't make it to the airport and then didn't make it during our stay at the Novotel, and they called us as soon as it was delivered to let us know it was there. The restaurant/bar is comfortable and the food above average (we had a dinner and two lunches there, and the breakfast is quite generous). We'll stay here again when we come back to Bordeaux.
