The staff are so helpful and lovely. We only stayed 1 night, I wish it was longer. Dinner at the hotel was excellent. It gets busy so I would recommend booking. The room had everything you need. We had to leave early the next day as we was running in a local event, the hotel kindly made us a pack lunch instead of breakfast to take on our run.

The room I was assigned to initially had some problems, but as soon as I made the owner aware of this, he upgraded me to a far better room, where I was very comfortable. It was spacious and clean. The shower was fine and the bed was comfortable.

We didn't really look around Abererch, because we had a two night stay for a wedding, but it was pleasantly quiet without being dead (apart from the graveyard at the back of the house !). Nant Gwrtheyrn is worth visiting if you have transport and time.
