I couldn’t fault the staff at this venue. I was staying by for work and arrived late after work. They managed to get me a table, without hesitation, for some food even though it was the Saturday before Christmas. They were super attentive, the food was insane and I couldn’t fault the service. They even made me the most perfect breakfast bag to take away.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Any assistance we needed, the staff were there to help. The hotel is located close to the train station and high street with the walk being mostly flat ground. I also liked that a ramp was present for wheelchair users, however I'm unsure if wheelchair users can access hotel rooms. Overall, my partner and I enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful historic village in the central part of Scotland. Very easy access off a good road network. A good bus service into Perth the nearest city. The Sunday bus service is a bit limited but other days are fine. In the village there is a small mixed business shop with a good range of basic goods. There is a pub which is friendly and serves a good range of food. We were there during their winter hours so not open everyday. There is a very interesting cafe in the Square which again operated winter opening hours. The village is famed for its round tower which is one or two in existence. There are great walks through the village and into the surrounding countryside.

Small village, only one pub, but one of the best I have stayed in. The room was comfortable as was the bed. The breakfast was of a very high standard and plenty of it The food served in the lounge area again of a very high standard all locally sourced. The no 36 bus goes into Perth every hour and the stop is only 100 metres away, good car park at the side of the building. Found the Locals to be very welcoming Last but not least the staff were fantastic they couldn't do enough for us Great place to stop overnight in travelling a fair way

The inn was so close to the M90.

The inn was so close to the M90. You can use it to tour Perth and Kinloss, Fife, Tayside and Angus. We went to Perth, Forfar and Dundee. It is ideal to go round the coastal route of Fife and to visit places like St Andrews famous for its golf course and University among other attractions and on to the fishing villages of Anstruther and the fish market at Pitenweem

    Anyplace in Fife is great!

Anyplace in Fife is great! Abernethy is nice, there is an interesting round tower and a fabulous Clootie Dumpling shop, the Clootie McToot! I think it would be nice to use Abernethy as a lovely rest stop on a road trip and enjoy the feel of this village.
