Great location, just a few minutes walk to the town center. Perfect for long walks around the fields (back of the hotel) with our dog and blessed with a lovely view of the Thames River. Pet friendly, lovely gardens and rooms, clean, comfortable, super easy self check-in/check-out, good breakfast with vegan options. Staff Millie and Kalie very friendly.

Very cozy and lovely town, full of fields and gardens to walk, explore and love. Long path through the River Thames and some options to hire kayaks and stand up paddle.
Lots of traditional pubs in the town center and very good cafes & restaurants with all kinds of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very friendly place for dogs including hotels and restaurants.
I can't wait to come back.

We'd just missed the farmers market on Friday which was a pity. Science convention in the square on Saturday. A real hive of activity. Lots of lovely historical buildings and the Abbey gardens were lovely even on a wet march day.

We live in Leeds so the trip to Abingdon is one of our favourites .A small market town with lots of places to eat and lovely Oxfordshire countryside and wildlife. Nearby Bletchley Park is definitely worth a visit. There are lots of places to walk in Abingdon and lots of history to discover. Oxford is only a bus ride away and they are very regular .Would never drive there.

I used to live in Abingdon and area for 44 years, so I would reccamened a holiday there for any explorer of Oxfordshire as bace to start from, for traveling north or south as there are many beautyfull towns and villages to visit.
The location was excellent allowing us to see a side of Abingdon we might not otherwise have seen.; situated next to Abbey Park, with lovely walks. The receptionist we saw on arrival and during our stay was very helpful. Since the hotel restaurant was closed for a wedding, she suggested other options and gave us good directions to our choice. She also gave us ideas of things to do/see in Abingdon. The room was of a good size and good access to wifi.
Great location for visiting Abingdon and Didcot amongst other towns in a small village with a nice restaurant and pub. Lovely property set back off the street so it’s very quiet and private. The annexe is very clean and has lovely fresh bedding and decor. Nice treats upon arrival - milk, biscuits and wine. And tea, coffee and sugar plus oils and seasonings available for use at the property. Everything’s been thought of.
The property is in a great location in the Cotswolds and easy to get to Abingdon and Oxford. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. No issues checking in and happy to help with anything. Dogs welcome and there are good walks close by.
Water, some chocolate, biscuits and tea and coffee available in the room. There were also some travel shampoo and shower gels. These were all nice touches.
Good location for central Abingdon. Polite staff but room 1 above pub with music and noise until after midnight, so woken up when kicking out time. No tea and coffee facilities in room, but there was juice and water in fridge on the landing. Room very recently upgraded so it was comfortable and modern in an old creaky floorboards building. Felt it was expensive with no cooked breakfast.
It was excellent in all areas. The location was great, free parking and free wi-if, and excellent competent and trained staff. Food was good both dinner and breakfast, and room very comfortable and en suite. It’s such a great gem of a hotel with easy distance to the railway station and Didcot and other places. I will stay here again.
Lovely old world Inn with period decor. Excellent breakfast and we were served by a charming friendly woman who seemed keen to ensure we were enjoying the meal and getting everything we wanted. Lovely place to stay if you want to explore Abingdon and surrounds (Oxford for example). Will definitely return.
Good central location in a lovely part of Abingdon. Free on site parking. Very close to town centre, supermarket, Abbey Meadows and the River Thames. The hotel has its own Pod Point EV charger, and there are plenty more available in the public car park a 2 minute walk from the hotel.
Lovely hotel - old building but very well maintained and comfortable rooms, which were very clean. The breakfast was excellent and comprehensive and the restaurant for dinner was excellent. Lastly, the staff were very nice and followed up on all requests.
We had dinner and breakfast, both were tasty. Good vegetarian option as well for the full english breakfast. Friendly staff, especially the breakfast person. Good basis for the Oxford area (if you have a car). Convenient parking on site.
This place could not have been more perfect. It was beyond spacious, homely and really close to the town center. We had a washer and dryer which was wonderful. It had great parking, two spaces which is hard to find in Abingdon.
The location perfect for my purpose of attending a wedding at Jesus Chapel Oxford and for the closeness of the reception held at Kingston Bagpuize House. The breakfast was a choice of 3 servings and you cannot do any better!!
I would totally recommend this lovely hotel. Our whole stay was very pleasant. The accommodation was clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. First time we have ever enjoyed being in the dog house.
This was a quiet oasis in the city, where we could enjoy a delicious breakfast along with a charming of the hotel’s garden, and beyond it, the Thames. It’s historic setting was another plus.
Excellent location for Abingdon, Oxford and the Thames Path walk. Rooms had all you needed for brief stay. Great breakfast. Appreciated all the vegan options.
