My room was fantastic. A huge, very comfy bed, with extra pillows in the wardrobe (& iron, ironing board and hairdryer). Shower room was clean and fairly recently refurbished. Breakfast - lots of choice and very good. Location was great, easy to find and plenty of parking.

It's all about the location, there's not much else to like. Breakfast was decent, but having paid £130 for what felt like a glorified shed, I wasn't expecting to pay for it.

Gorgeous property with wonderful staff throughout. Our room was in one of the converted cottages, beautifully done and we even had an Easter egg left as a gift as it was over Easter weekend. Attractive country house hotel in lovely grounds just off the M4. Lovely room overlooking the garden. Nice bar and restaurant, great for a stopover or short break. Friendly staff. Simple buffet breakfast or full English if required. Would stay again

Downstairs bathroom and steep stairs were surprising as they weren't mentioned in description, kitchen was also very small.
