Staff were excellent in the bar/restaurant area, the bar/restaurant area was trimmed nicely for the Christmas period and does have a very welcoming and warm feel to it. Drinks are a bit pricy though.
The Location - Great location for bars, restaurants and the retail facilities in Alderley Edge and Wilmslow Town.
The room - Decorated to a modern style but there were some damage to painted areas which just need a touch up. The main let down was we found someone else's boxer shorts in the bin in the en-suite, toe nail clipping on the floor in the en-suite and the door to the en-suite very noisy. These are simple things that should not be seen by the 'next guest' in to a room that should be cleaned properly between guests staying.
However, we would stay again as I'd expect the owners to act on these issues if they read these reviews.

Alderley Edge is a very affluent part of cheshire known as part of the golden triangle or Wilmsow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury. Lots of footballers and famous people live here so can be seen in and around the local bars and restaurants. If you like car spotting come here as Lambo's and Ferraris are ten a penny along with every Chelsea tractor known to man. Lovely people and a great laid back vibe and must visit as well as a walk up to Edge with stunning views over the Cheshire downs.

Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend.
Alderley Edge is a great place to stay for the weekend. Cafes and restaurants are good and close to each other. It is also good base if you want to walk around the local countryside and if you want to go further afield there is a station nearby that stops at other towns and Manchester.

We stayed to go to the Cheshire game and country fair on the Sunday, so didn't have a lot of time to look locally. The Hotel was a good stop off and would use it again for a look at the closer area.

We were visiting family in the area.
We were visiting family in the area. Alderley Edge is a convenient place to stay, close to Manchester Airport and with a station in the centre, and it is surrounded by some beautiful countryside. There is a good selection of shops and restaurants, both within the village and in the countryside nearby.
There is a brilliant fish and chip shop near the hotel and an excellent independent bakery/patisserie, Weinholts, which is an institution in the high street.
We were only in the room for a quick sleep and shower before flying out of Manchester, but the room was sweet, and the host was incredibly kind and communicative. It was close to the train station, making easy transport to the Manchester airport. The neighborhood was beautiful, and many cute little coffee shops were open early so we could get a good meal in before our fight. This room is not in Manchester proper. It was easy to navigate on the trains, but keeping the train schedule in mind is essential.
Reception staff particularly helpful and friendly; granted use of the car park at least 2 hours before 'check-in' which was a boon - you're right on the main street, just a few yards from all the hustle and bustle of Alderley Edge. Baby sitting duties required travel cot, promised in our room before we returned from shopping (thanks Angus!). Comfy bed, powerful shower AND a bath and breakfast service very efficient. Evening meal was also good, plus discount from AA membership.
Friendly check in, plenty of parking, central location in Alderley Edge close to restaurants. Unfortunately Chef and Brewer restaurant downstairs was closed but we nipped to Tesco for a meal deal - after a busy day at Alton Towers we were pooped anyway. Five min walk to Tesco express and big Waitrose. Room was very clean. Fan included for a warm night. Plentiful and tasty breakfast served in the morning. Great value for money.
Beautiful and historic old building , incredibly well restored and maintained - rooms are large and incredibly comfortable - great mix of the traditional and new with all the facilities you'd need in room - very short walk from the village where there any number of places to eat & drink , a short walk from the countryside. Excellent value , very attentive host
The staff were amazingly helpful.
We were a large party congregating on the eve of a wedding and they made us feel really welcome and made everything so easy.
We were able to sit together to eat and they even kept the flowers for my daughter's wedding (which qas on the following say) chilled in the cellar overnight!!
This place is a little gem hidden away just of London Road in Alderley edge. It's a stones throw away from bars, restaurants and coffee shops so plenty to do. Parking is available too which where it is located is amazing really as property and space is at a premium. Great location.
It was very clean and comfy. Right where I needed to be. All cafes and restaurant are just a minute or so walk. Owner was very helpful with information on how to get in, calling for taxi when I needed, advice on place to eat etc.
Welcoming and friendly staff. Location suited our reason for visiting the area. The restaurant was well organised by friendly and helpful staff. The evening meals and breakfasts had plenty of variety and were well cooked.
The hotel was very clean and decor in the rooms and bar were lovely. Couldn’t fault the room.
The hotel is in a good location for going out in Alderley Edge, about a 20 minute walk down the road to the bars etc.
Such a beautiful, cosy hotel extremely friendly and helpful staff. Superb location for the high st where there are loads of great restaurants and bars.
Sunday lunch in the hotel was delicious 🥰
Everything was exceptional. We hired the Garden room for a very small wedding ceremony and the staff (special mention to Elliot & Jake) went over and above to make our day as perfect as possible.
The location is excellent, the staff where amazing particularly paid attention to my elderly Mum.
Food was great breakfast hectic but the staff continued to smile & remain helpful.
