The approach road is unlit and narrow and I would suggest the Ashton sign on the front of the building would benefit from being lit in particular for late arrivals. I passed it three times trying to find it. The other guest staying also said the same. You might consider leaving (if possible) the front gate open for access.
Breakfast very nice and plentiful, WiFi fine but would suggest changing the complicated password to something simple like AshtonFarm
Lock on the room door stuck which I believe is a serious Health & Safety issue and a very serious problem if there is a need to exit the building quickly, the wooden gate to the car parking is falling apart and needs two hands to operate.
I liked the set-up, dining room was very nice and different
Overall it was fine - - but with a little bit of TLC it could be very good

Location was really good , rooms where nice and clean , good all round , their was a new gentleman on reception I think it was his first day , he was super polite , really well spoken , kept apologising because he was new . He was a credit to the company
