Enjoyable stay at Burton Lodge which is on the edge of the village next to a golf course. The staff were very friendly and had good knowledge of the local area. There is a comfortable lounge with an honesty bar. The room was spotless, well equiped and with a comfortable bed. I will return later in year when next in the area.

We received a really warm welcome from our host. The room is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. Paula was keen to make sure that we would be comfortable, and asked if there was anything else she could provide us with. A very full breakfast was left for us at the time we requested. If we return to the area, we would hope to stay again.

Very comfortable and very clean. Quiet location over-looking open fields. Plenty of free parking. There are two bedrooms with double four-poster beds. The rooms are particularly pleasant and comfortable. Both with ensuite shower/loo. You have the whole cottage and gardens so plenty of room for families. You are about 20 minutes from Beverley. This cottage is self-catering with well equipped kitchen, large enough for a family of six at the kitchen table. Two triple-seat sofas in the lounge, plus chair. Recommended.

Cosy Cottage was well equipped and thought out it had everything you need for a small property, the cottage is very clean and modern inside the location is quiet and rural.

The location is great. We were forewarned that WiFi was unavailable but at odd times a connection was found but only for a random amount of time. Probably something to do with the weather. Watching the birds visit the garden easily made up for being out of contact.
The cafe is really nice and well worth visiting. The hosts were very welcoming even though we had arrived earlier than we stated.

No shop.
Easy access to Hornsea 5 mins and Bridlington 25 mins.
No access to beach due to cliff collapse but plenty of areas to walk dog along cliffs,by duckpond,or on quiet country lanes.
Pavements suitable for push chairs and wheelchairs.
Regular village coffee morning on a Thursday. All welcome.
