Views amazing,location fantastic( can walk off road to Hawes). Decor was luxurious and plenty of onsite parking. Wonderful to have breakfast as late as 9.30am and it was delicious.

Delicious food and very friendly staff Even offered to go to the butcher on the last day to get us something that was nt on the menu if we wanted(there was plenty to choose from on the menu so it was nt necessary) Fresh towels every day Lovely old building right in the heart of the village. Unfortunately whoever does the cleaning needs to go to specsavers as our room had a lot of dust and cobwebs plus the windows were wedged/painted shut. For us, it was a good location.
For us, it was a good location. The help guide within the property lists good restaurants / pubs. The local pub is good and friendly. Food is good portions at a good price. The George and dragon to the west also sells good portions, well priced. We found that pubs that had been visited by all creatures great and small were generally over priced. Good playground on the village green and stocks on the opposite side of the road. Good walks from Bainbridge.

Perfect village location in the Yorkshire Dales - has a traditional pub (Rose and Crown) and is ideally placed for walking or cycling and yet it suffers none of the problems of nearby Hawes (too busy)
