This place is a real gem - don’t be fooled by the outside! Our room was palatial with space to spread out walking gear and sit and have a cup of tea with the delicious homemade shortbread. Beds very comfortable and the shower superb. Plenty warm enough. Dinner from the cafe style menu was just what we needed and breakfast excellent. The owner was extremely welcoming. There’s even a Nessie!

A little gem of a property and the owner was lovely. After staying in hotels for the previous 4 nights it was a great break with own space and good facilities for cooking etc. The bed was comfy and shower was good. I can't fault the cabin itself at all, it was lovely, beds were comfortable and the kitchen facilities were great, my boyfriend is on the tall side so the doorways and shower were the only thing he struggled with. Any questions we had were answered pretty quickly, which was also helpful, and the hot water bottles in the bedroom were definitely a nice touch since we were both feeling the cold.
