It was quirky, original and in a magical setting. The host made us feel very welcome, offered a tour around the castle and gave us some local history. She ensured we had all we needed including setting up the fire pit when we decided we would like to catch the atmosphere of the evening. Room was nice and clean. We had twin beds as we are family travelling together however there was no distance between the beds which made it a bit uncomfortable sleeping so close together.

Room was great and quirky to say the least but very nice, bathroom was ok but not on the same level as the room itself.
Food was great and breakfast was plentiful.
