The lady who runs the hotel was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed, the room was very comfortable, we had a key to let ourselves in whenever we wanted so we weren't kept to a timetable. We opted for the continental breakfast and it was fantastic I would definitely recommend this place to stay

Impressive old building in a lovely bit of the Scottish Highlands. Rooms are excellent value for money, with en-suite facilities and a comfy bed. Straightforward self-check-in system with a key-safe for each room situated in the main entrance lobby; this was communicated clearly well in advance. Very friendly and helpful proprietors. Good communal kitchen area, which is well-equipped.

Everything. Location, friendliness, cleanliness and food. The attention to detail was incredible. I had the best sleep ever. Beach on the door step. Cocktails and shortbread waiting in the room and rocking chairs on the veranda . Every member of staff were happy to help and offer advice about the area. A real hidden gem.

The hotel concept is sound, the check in procedure was professionally dealt with and we were shown to our lovely room. We booked in for dinner which was of very good quality, drinks in the bar were also served without any issue, in a lovely cozy setting. The room was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.

The bathroom design and decor was stunning. The view from our window topped it off.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, cooked a delicious meal of fresh fish and salad and suggested a mellow local whisky. It’s more a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Lovely view of the sunset from the bedroom window, a great location next to the water.
The location of the hotel was lovely, the owners are lovely people who gave us a lovely welcome, the food is really first class, the best we had on our holiday, really enjoyed our stay.
The Dunroamin Hotel was outstanding: the service was first -class and the breakfasts exceptional. Lesley and Iain go the extra 10 miles; cannot wait to go back there.
