How clean was the Inn on the lake - it's an oldish busy hotel so was not expecting brilliance but no complaints everything in order. The small TV was the only negative so 9out of 10

I loved the character of the building and its Dickens charm. It had retained its old fashioned look but rooms comfortable and with modern facilities we all expect. Location was excellent for my visit.

You can't grumble at the low price of The Charles Hotel. The room was large and warm and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was good and the free parking is an added bonus. With the station nearby, it makes a good base from which to explore the area.
