Short walk into the centre at the end of a little estate. Small but comfortable room for 1 night. Hosts very friendly and room was ready earlier than checkin in time which was handy. Great breakfast choice and lovely food.

Beautiful old country house set back in its own grounds. Treated wonderfully by the hosts on arrival and throughout our stay. Room exceptionally clean and breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. Will definitely be back
It was very peaceful. The staff Gina was helpful when we arrived. It was a bit far from anywhere walking. The lodge was adequate and the kitchen was fully equipped. However the cooker was old and while clean wasn’t very nice. Some of the buttons were worn and difficult to use. The heating was adequate. The bed felt hard and too narrow. We didn’t eat out so can’t comment on eating places. However it wasn’t far from Aviemore. We visited the ski centre, Loch Garten and Loch Morlich.

Beautiful location, nice and cosy cabin with beautiful nature surrounding it. Esay access to the Town and local market.
There is an activity area for the children but it is very expensive, horse riding and boat trips are also available in the area.

Nice old fashioned inn; food and drink excellent, great staff, especially Nathan, who went above and beyond to greet everyone at the bar. Despite shampoo and soap issue and noisy plumbing in my room, I’ll be back.

I was using the cottage as a base to go walking from which was dog friendly. It was perfect for that. Also directly opposite Landmark centre which although I didn’t visit this time I have been to many times in the past with my kids and enjoyed. There is loads to do in the surrounding area- walk, cycling routes places to visit.
The expectations were low from reading reviews, but it was the only accomodation in the area that could accomodate us as a family of 5. I was greeted by a lovely lady at reception who was very kind and clearly experienced with the public. She even let us check in slightly early. There was also a lovely older gentleman who was dropping off laundry on the morning of our departure and he was again very cheerful and kind, he offered to take our rubbish, so i didn't have to drop it off.
This hotel is set in the most beautiful location with large gardens. We were greeted by the friendliest gentleman ever and shown to our room which was massive with a four poster bed and a huge bathroom with bath and shower. The breakfast was just perfect and to sit and enjoy it with a view the garden was all very relaxing. The hotel has to be one if not the best in Scotland with everything you could wish for. A proper hotel with the personnel touch. We will definitely return here.
Everything! Used to be an old hunting lodge, and Steve and Tracy have transformed it into a fabulous Inn. Beautiful rooms, very clean, super comfortable-best “sleep” of our entire trip, great breakfast! They were professional, but also treated us like old friends while we hung out with them in their very own bar that one evening. Reminded us of what B and B’s USED to be like back in the day.
Quaint hotel mixing the old with the new.
Car parking immediately behind hotel.
Really friendly and efficient team.
Excellent breakfast with quality local produce
Good range of food in bar menu to suit most tastes.
Comfortable mattress.
White bed linen.
Water, hot chocolate, tea, coffee and biscuits in room.
Good lighting in bedroom.
Wonderful location and excellent facilities for a great family break. Staff were friendly and helpful and plenty to do on site. Carrbridge is just a 15 minute walk, with a couple of restaurants and shop there if you don't want to drive to Aviemore or Granton. Plus plenty of walks in the area, along the river or up into the woods.
The owner went out of his way for everything possible, including offering me to drive to a city a half hour away because I had a flat tire. He wasn’t expecting any kind of payment. He was looking just to help in anyway you can you will not find this anywhere I will always be loyal to his hotel for his services.
Location was excellent, close to village centre with a pub and restaurant, the train station just around the corner from the bnb. Carrbridge is on the mainline from Inverness to Glasgow. Breakfast was served in the room between 0800 to 0900, lovely and delicious filled rolls. Enjoyed the chats with Scott.
Perfectly set in Carrbridge, peaceful spot set away from the touristy area and charming traditional Scottish decor on a beautiful parcel of land. Our room was large and so comfy. Steve and Tracy were absolutely lovely hosts (and cook!) We wish we could have stayed here longer.
Good value, hotel is in a nice location and had an outdoor seating area to enjoy a beer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is being upgraded, the room we had was basic but it was clean. I'm sure it will be greatly improved when the renovation is completed.
Super wee house in a lovely village, within walking distance of a pub and a hotel so two choices of good food plus there is also takeaway in village and a cafe. Was a great base for our golf break. House was very comfy and well equipped.
Staff were very friendly, food was really tasty. The one beer I tried from the bar was excellent. Room was excellent. Beds were comfortable. En-suite facilities were great and everything worked as it should. 10/10 for everything.
After discovering that the local town was busy and seeing us on a bicycle made for two, the hosts very graciously provided dinner. The bar was a wonderful place for tall tales and the dram of whiskey will not be forgotten.
Excellent hotel lodge. The hosts were very hospitable, and the hotel was very charming. The breakfasts served were very high quality and the couple went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I will come again
It actually felt like home for the few days we were there. Carrbridge is a great location, with easy access to the Cairngorms and the main A9. Not that you need that, as there are lovely walks around the village.
It was nice to have a full condo after days of hotels and B&Bs. It was conveniently located for our purposes. It was clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful.
Exactly as advertised, plus lovely staff/owners. Beautiful hotel with original features and a real cosy feel about it. Very comfortable and everything you could need in your room
The view over fields and animals was lovely and the cottage is charming. Beds a bit hard but ok. Location great, good choice for walking. Cairn hotel good and lovely staff.
Kim left us milk, cheese, eggs and wine, which was a lovely touch! Carrbridge is a great base to explore the area and the local hotels are good for food and drink.
