Drimsynie Estate Hotel, hotel in Carrick

As the centre piece of Drimsynie Estate, this impressive hotel overlooks its own 9-hole golf course, plus Loch Goil and the Argyllshire mountains.

The dog was very dog friendly, not just tolerant. Only a couple of places we couldn’t take her and the staff were very attentive. Although we were lucky with the weather there was lots to do whether raining or dry. It was lovely and modern, with everything we needed in the room. The bedroom also had floor to ceiling windows which gave us a beautiful loch view from the bed. We also loved the ‘fire pit’ tables around the terrace. Perfect place to relax.

Connection with nature the birds and wildlife are amazing. It’s very beautiful with lots of lovely walks. Be sure to take binoculars. The Boat Shed does fabulous coffee and cake and caters for plant based diets and gluten free. Great views too and dog friendly.
