Lovely base for exploring the area great for dog walking...
Lovely base for exploring the area great for dog walking and close to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Very quiet small hamlet no shops except Farm shop that’s isn’t open everyday. Lovely little pub opposite with delicious food at a reasonable price
The staff was absolutely the best. Very friendly and accommodating. Lex, Shannon and Jason were delightful and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and I am now a fan of the English breakfast! The place was charming and quiet. It gave me the feel of an old style cottage in the English country side. Whenever I come to Salisbury I will be staying here. The pricing makes this place a great value and worth it for sure.
Nothing, was advertised as 4 star, more like 2 star !! The only positive, it was near the village where we were attending a funeral.
The hotel stated verbally that they were 3 star !!!
They made a booking for us at a nearby pub for Sunday evening meal, as their chef had the night off and stated ' they do better food than we do ', to be presented with ' are you eating with us tonight ' It was like Fawlty towers !!
all in all the best overnight stay of our UK round trip, a nice hotel, great garden, huge parking place included, close to the highway, but still a quiet place. Restaurant serves well tasting dinner and breakfast. Room was clean, huge enough for our family - and last but not least the staff is open-minded, helpful and really friendly. We felt welcome!
Super nice hotel!
Great countryside hotel. Everything was nice. Me and My Big Brother and my family would surely choose it again next time we visit Gray Manor Hotel. Great location, great service, friendly staff. Surprisingly, the bacon was cooked well. Usually, in hotels it is hard and dry, here it was nice and tasty. The drip coffee was good as well. The hotel is located near some busy roads but it was quiet at night. Staff are friendly.
Great welcome ar reception, very very helpful regarding local area, options for food locally and in the hotel.
Offered takeaway breakfast, as not having breakfast in hotel.
