Dinner was fine but not great. Breakfast was very good. Smoked Haddock was lovely. Staff were wonderful and so helpful. The location is wonderful and makes the hotel. The gardens were beautiful and having the key made it quite special.

Excellent holiday , the owners certainly have done well in providing excellent facilities for families , especially for children. GREAT football area, tennis, putting and various games rooms, This gets the children out and about. Amazing snooker room with antique table in great condition. The Gunpowder restaurant looks a bit basic , but the food was down to earth amazing for families. The location is excellent and there is little need to go off site. Look out for daily activities organised by the site staff, Excellent staff cheery and helpful. Cottage was clean and great for families, EVERYTHING supplied for self catering and accommodation. Will definitely be back.

Lovely setting with hills, sea and many scattered homes along the coast. Well decorated with comfortable furniture. An interesting location with easy access to Oban. A small number of local shops and a few pubs and restaurants cooking with ingredients made earring a pleasure. Wooden stairs would be difficult with young children but keeps dogs in their place. Friendly helpful owners on site.

A stunning part of the world.

A stunning part of the world. Enough facilities to keep us going for essentials but welcome remoteness to appreciate the natural beauty. Really glad our hosts adviser us to shop in Oban before we arrived onto Seil Island so we could spend every moment enjoying ourselves. A boat trip to Easdale was a must for us to look at the slate quarries and climb to see phenomenal views. The water is crystal clear and given warmer weather we would have been in!
