The breakfast was good. I like that you could order hot items from a meny. (with good quality) I missed fresh fruits, but other than that it was good! The staff was also very welcoming and helpful. I also thought it was very clean.

Its location outside Oxford was great, just being able to be in a rural pub was a great experience for a couple of Kiwis.
The bedroom was cosy with a good bathroom - I take it these were the original stables in the earlier days which made it feel more special
The food is amazing - dinner and breakfast

Could not sleep properly because of the running water coming from the toilet all night
Overall the village is very pleasant and quite quiet.
Overall the village is very pleasant and quite quiet. The local pub is a destination Chef and Brewer pub with a good quality of food and is very easily walkable from Clinton Hampden, although the road is a little ‘frisky’ in the dark as it is narrow and has no footpath in places, especially over the narrow bridge. The view of the Thames is stunning and the Thames path is great for a stroll/walk.

A nice little village with a pretty church and some lovely walks by the Thames. A good pub by the Thames but a little dangerous to walk over the bridge to get to it as you have to walk on the road at times.

Very comfortable place to stay.
Very comfortable place to stay. The breakfasts were first class, quick service and nice and hot. Staff were very friendly. There is a good Chef and Brewer pub a short walk away, through a very pretty village. It has a perfectly adequate menu and bags of character to recommend it. Only a couple of miles from the market town of Abingdon and the delightful river Thames.
