Hotel was situated in central Abingdon, which was ideal for what we wanted to do.
Our little dog was well catered for with a bed, bowls and treats.
Our room was also on the ground floor which was more convenient with the dog.
Breakfast was excellent and lots to choose from.
The refurbished Steventon House offers fine comfort, a striking wine bar and an exquisite brasserie restaurant amid the Oxfordshire countryside. It has easy access to the M4, M40 and business parks.

The room configuration that was promised on Booking.com wasn’t available but the hotel staff promptly remedied it with another solution. Beautifully handled. Also the staff recommended a wonderful
Pub for dinner that involved a stunning walk through the village and across the lock. Excellent local suggestion that made our stay.

Easy location, just off of the A34.
Very clean, lovely staff! So welcoming and accommodating!
Also a gym on site, it is small but enough for what is needed.
We had breakfast at the hotel, it hit the right spot, fruit, yogurts and the usual cooked breakfast and toast available.
Overall the village is very pleasant and quite quiet.
Overall the village is very pleasant and quite quiet. The local pub is a destination Chef and Brewer pub with a good quality of food and is very easily walkable from Clinton Hampden, although the road is a little ‘frisky’ in the dark as it is narrow and has no footpath in places, especially over the narrow bridge. The view of the Thames is stunning and the Thames path is great for a stroll/walk.

A nice little village with a pretty church and some lovely walks by the Thames. A good pub by the Thames but a little dangerous to walk over the bridge to get to it as you have to walk on the road at times.

Very comfortable place to stay.
Very comfortable place to stay. The breakfasts were first class, quick service and nice and hot. Staff were very friendly. There is a good Chef and Brewer pub a short walk away, through a very pretty village. It has a perfectly adequate menu and bags of character to recommend it. Only a couple of miles from the market town of Abingdon and the delightful river Thames.
