At Cresswell there was good access to beaches which were safe for bathing - but beware jellyfish! Beaches were clean and very uncrowded. There was easy access to the coast further north but you need a car - although there was a bus service from outside the property. There were lots of places to visit within 1hr by car from Cresswell - castles and coast and lots of heritage.
