Convenient location (next to both the train and bus station), and had very helpful and friendly members of staff who helped with directions around town and the wider Lakes areas. The hotel’s facilities were great, having both a pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. The onsite bar and restaurant was also very good, nice food and lovely staff.

Hotel is fantastic. I stayed for work and used it as a base for business in the North. Quick access to Lakes and M6 which is an added bonus. Rural location is good.
Rural location is good. And everything at the hotel was great! Friendly and professional staff, comfortable and immaculately clean room and superb food and service at a reasonable price in the restaurant. Ample free car parking, too. Only slight negative is that hotel is on a busy, fast road with no pavements - so walks from it might be limited for some guests (eg those with several small children or some elderly people).

Had dinner in the hotel's restaurant which was great and reasonably priced. Would advise booking in advance as restaurant and bar were very busy for a Wednesday night. Friendly, welcoming receptionist and waiting staff. Enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again. Sad that we could only stay one night due to commitments.
