Hotel is in a great location, easy walking to city centre, park, river, castle, easy to get to, no need to drive in through the city.
Plenty in onsite parking, nice social outdoor space. Staff were really friendly and approachable.. food isnt alacarte but fills a space very nicely with a good selection, comfy, cosy and weloming social spaces, could quute easily sit at a window seat with a beer waching the world go by.

They don't offer breakfast which is a shame, although they do provide breakfast snacks in the room. Rooms could do with a full length mirror as well, but that's me probably being a bit picky. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

The Loch Ness Country House Hotel offers excellent food and elegant rooms. It is a striking Georgian building in 6 acres of gardens, 3 km from Inverness city centre.

I came here for the Culloden battlefield and Cawdor Castle.
I came here for the Culloden battlefield and Cawdor Castle. The battlefield is a special and emotional experience, the visitor Centre is excellent.
Cawdor can be missed, but it was still special and rich with associations.
