The views from my room were amazing, the room had a nice coffee machine that also had hot chocolate/tea available. The staff were amazing too and were very helpful the whole stay!

Everything, was so clean & such a homely little place, absolutely loved just having time away in such a lovely spot! Hot tub was marvellous and it was great during the day just chilling with the front doors open watching tv!

We had a very enjoyable stay. Lucy was amazing. She checked us in showed us our room and also served drinks and food in the evening. The breakfast was very good. The room was extremely clean, warm and welcoming

Dalton is a small village surrounded by beautiful countryside, and it is easy to get to Dumfries and the Solway coast (the drive to Dumfries includes some lovely views). We particularly enjoyed the wildlife and castle at Caerlaverock (half an hour's drive away).
