Beautifully situated with a management team who display their pride in their property on their sleeves. We only stayed the solitary night but as luck would have it the hotel and surrounding area was hit with an out of the blue, water problem. Water everywhere to see but none to drink, wash or flush away. For a problem that was totally out of their control the hotel staff did very well and we were offered a generous gesture of apology when checking out.

The hotel has a quaint restaurant and bar that are also frequented by the local residents so you do need to get a reservation for dinner. There is a brewery on site that brews a delicious IPA.
