The Old Down Inn, hotel in East Harptree

Located in Radstock, in a historic building, 23 km from Bath Spa Train Station, The Old Down Inn is a bed and breakfast with a garden and bar.

The centuries old building, although that must make it difficult to meet modern living expectations. Maxine and other staff were lovely and informative. Very enjoyable evening meal and a monster breakfast in the morning! Lots of interesting artefacts and snippets of information. Despite being close to a road junction we were not disturbed during the night by noise.

Very very friendly and homely Short walk to a good pub (Vic), Long walk (but walkable for the hardy) to another famously good pub (Hunters) Ideal location, especially if you like caving I needed to leave extremely early in the morning and they could accommodate that for us

Caring and lovely hosts that went out of their way to make us comfortable with all the extra goodies. We did not want for anything at all I would highly recommend Leyland Annexe to whoever is looking for accommodation in the Somerset area It was very well situated for our purpose of going out everyday to look at areas that appealed to us for when we come over permanently which is our attention Well done to Phil and Lyn and thank you, you were both amazing. Will keep in touch and let you know where we settle

It's location is perfect. There are a few nice pub/restaurants there and it is central to: Wells, Glastonbury, Bath, Bristol, Weston Super Mare, all within about 30 minutes. Clarks Shopping Village is close. There is a Spa Shop for your immediate needs. An amazing Fish and Chip shop at Chew Valley Lakes
