Excellent choice of pillows on the bed in terms of softness etc. Very standard in terms of facilities, but did the job for a night. I was really high up too, which was pretty cool for views! Would definitely stay again if I needed another overnight stay in Derby.

Staff were nice hotel nice inside, but rooms in need of upgrade. Could do with plug sockets by the beds and the big mirror moving onto the wall by the plugs from the wardrobe door.

The room was better than expected, very comfortable. The bed was huge, and the sofa bed was also a good size and comfortable. We all slept very well.
The bathroom was a good size and well equipped.
Wifi worked well, and the staff were very attentive. Large car park is very convenient.

Pets were welcomed, weather was very hot so we were able to enjoy our meals at the hotel outside, which was a bonus. Left the car in the car park and used the Villager bus, the stop being right outside of the hotel and runs a half hourly excellent service to explore the beautiful countryside and other local villages including Tutbury Castle.
The room was good value. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately no food available on sight, but a great chippy 2 mins away and are allowed to eat in bar area of the hotel, where plates and cutlery available. Free internet, TV in room. Nice quiet location if you are travelling through.
